Musical Dialogues is a concert series focused on fresh ideas in chamber music. These events show that chamber music is something vibrant and engaging. The meeting of different instruments becomes a conversation where sound, its color, and how it transforms are at the heart of the exchange.

Dialogue for Eight Strings

The clash—and harmony—of cello and double bass outside of the orchestral context opens up a space for exploring unexpected sonic qualities. In an intimate dialogue, both instruments have the opportunity to fully reveal their potential—from lyrical cantilena lines to rhythmic precision and drive. The program features a carefully curated selection of works designed to offer a wide-ranging musical experience: from the polyphony of Renaissance motets and the elegance and lyricism of Massenet and Rossini, to 20th-century pieces by Hindemith and Glière. The concert will conclude with a contemporary original miniature – Dialogue.
