HERtet

The ensemble was formed on the initiative of three experienced instrumentalists: violinist Anna Kwiatkowska, percussionist Magdalena Kordylasińska-Pękala, and pianist Martyna Zakrzewska. Previously known for their work in other formations (Flow Unit, Kwadrofonik, Chain Ensemble), the artists combined their musical potentials to create an all-female trio. Their first joint project was a collaboration with Pierre Jodlowski and the staged performance of the piece This leads to an emotional stasis at the Krzysztof Penderecki Academy of Music in Kraków.

The ensemble bases its activity on the ideas of sisterhood, solidarity, and equality in the creative process. Its goal is to actively support the presence of women in the world of music and art by increasing the visibility and involvement of female artists on the contemporary scene. The group’s actions are conscious and long-term, focusing on building a space for collaboration, exchange of experiences, and mutual support among female creators across different generations.

During the Futurofonia Festival, they will perform compositions by Anna Sowa and Jarosław Płonka.
