Practical Information for Die Walküre Performances
Baltic Opera Festival – 4th Edition
2 & 5 July 2026
Box Office and Gates Open: 4:00 PM
Approximate Running Time:
Act I: 5:30 PM – 6:35 PM
Intermission: 45 minutes
Act II: 7:20 PM – 8:50 PM
Intermission: 30 minutes
Act III: 9:20 PM – 10:30 PM
The performance will be announced by musical fanfares played 10 and 5 minutes before the start.
The Forest Opera in Sopot is covered, so there is no need to worry about rain. However, we recommend bringing a blanket, as it can get quite chilly in the evening.
During the intermissions, a variety of food stands will be available, offering baked baguettes, French fries, ice cream, as well as a grab-and-go snack station with:
focaccia with Parma ham, rocket, and cherry tomatoes,
focaccia with mozzarella, rocket, and cherry tomatoes,
chicken tortilla with fresh vegetables,
vegetarian tortilla,
homemade cheesecake,
traditional Polish pleśniak cake.
At the Festival Shop, you will be able to purchase the Festival Programme, umbrellas, blankets, tote bags, T-shirts, and thermal mugs.
