It all starts with a conversation


The new Baltic Opera building will be constructed at People's Assembly Square (Plac Zebrań Ludowych) in Gdańsk. Before designing it, we want to talk with local residents about this space. We are committed to making the future opera house a welcoming and open gathering place. Opera is a spa for the soul—a place to pause, relax, and experience something truly special.

The public consultations are organized by the Baltic Opera in Gdańsk and coordinated by Tricity-based culture researcher Bartek Lis.

The process will include research walks, workshops, focus groups, a foresight workshop, mobile consultation points, and individual interviews. The consultations will also be supported by Public Twin, a unique platform that allows people to participate outside of live meetings and follow updates on the construction process.
