Tomasz Konieczny

Tomasz Konieczny’s first ever performance on the stage of the Baltic Opera. The world-famous Polish bass-baritone will perform a programme entitled Apocalypse, which consists of Kindertotenlieder by Gustav Mahler to the poetry of Friedrich Rückert and Songs by Aleksander Nowak to the poetry of Krzysztof Kamil Baczyński, composed on the inspiration of the soloist. The concert at the Baltic Opera will be the first live performance of the programme with an orchestra. The artist will be accompanied by musicians from the Baltic Opera under the direction of Michał Krężlewski.

After the concert in Gdańsk, a meeting will take place in the Opera's foyer, during which the artists will talk about the preparations for the concert and the recording of the album. The meeting will be moderated by Jacek Marczyński.
